FAQ

why attend?
A DECADE-LASTING CONFERENCE PLATFORM. HOSTED ANNUALLY, CREATING IMPACT EVERY DAY.

You may know that each year the world elite CEOs meet up in Davos, Switzerland for the world business run-down with the World Economic Forum as host. At Impact the Future we support this but acknowledge the power and necessity for another locally anchored yet globally oriented conference format with a broader audience creating more impact.

Our aim is ambitious but our claim humble. We need all futurists, business innovators, activists, and influential government leaders to unite in Sønderborg, Denmark to challenge the business status quo and fundamentally change the pivot of our future. The decade of change starts now and you are at the center of the tranformation!
WHERE is impact the future?
ITF is hosted in the southern region of Denmark in the city of Sønderborg. The conference will take place at the Alsion Concert Hall.

Address:
Alsion 2, 6400 Sønderborg

Alsion is located just a few hundred meters from Sønderborg train station and is conveniently situated in the city center.
WHY SØNDErBORG?
Sønderborg is a serious and pioneering frontrunner! Known as the City of Zero Carbon but also the first city in Denmark to join the UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities, Sønderborg is dead serious when working with the SDGs. The grand vision of creating a new knowledge headquarter “Center for Verdensmålene” has already commenced and we are proud to co-host ITF with DK’s most ambitious city and municipality.

Located in southern Denmark and with a population of 74,737, Sønderborg is known for its outstanding achievements in CO2 reduction and for its successes in applying interdisciplinary policies to foster sustainable development in four dimensions: environmental, cultural, economic, and social sustainability.
WHO's attending?
“Cities have the capability of providing something for everybody, only because, and only when, they are created by everybody.”  Jane Jacobs has a point here! How can presidents or startup futurists alone crack the SDGs and create a new world order of business? We are uniting the forces from four societal pillars to create a community of true game changers!

Danfoss, Kickstarter, TDC, Space10, Deloitte, Corti, SDU, Waterkant Festival, UN Global Compact, Project Zero, Precis Digital and many more

Impact-focused organizations around the world can host a Satellite Event by live-streaming a keynote session from the main event, followed by an interactive discussion with thought leaders and community stakeholders addressing a topic of their choice.

A Satellite Event can take place during or after our conference on October 26 in Sønderborg.
